Video Endoscopy
Video endoscopy is a minimally invasive (keyhole) technique to investigate the inner organs of the horse with a high definition camera. With this procedure which is minimally stressful for the horse, pathological changes can be detected and treatment can be initiated.
Due to the possibility of archiving the images, clinical findings can be discussed with the owner at rest.
The following areas can be examined endoscopically at our hospital:
Tenoscopy of the digital flexor tendon sheath
Bursoscopy (endoscopy of the bursae)
Bronchoscopy (pulmonary endoscopy) and laryngoscopy (endoscopy of the larynx)
